when welding flanges to template pipes

The most complicated precision-fit pipe constructions between two given
connecting flanges can be produced quickly and easily with the computer-
supported ROBOFIX. Employing this device shortens the working time,
because the correct flange connecting points are generated automatically,
e.g. by directly using the measuring data of the SCOPELINK isometric
device.

ROBOFIX precisely replicates the correct alignment of the flange planes
as well as the rotation angles of the flanges (as measured on-site) in the
pipeshop.

The prefabricated pipe only has to be positioned between the aligned
flanges of ROBOFIX and tacked to them. Using this device it is possible
to tack flanges with 4, 6, 8 or 10 holes to the bent pipes. Quality assu-
rance is provided throughout the entire manufacturing process since the
position of the connecting flanges and the design of the pipe configuration
are constantly checked.

After the flanges have been spot welded the template pipe is carried to a
welding workplace, where the flanges are definitely welded to the pipe.
In this way the completely prefabricated pipe can be transported to the
jobsite and installed at perfect fit.
